The invention provides an ultra-thin overlay process which comprises the following 12 construction steps: S1, technical preparation: designing a target mix proportion, a production mix proportion, production mix proportion verification and construction guidance opinions; s2, material preparation: preparing matrix asphalt, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, mineral powder, a warm mixing agent, a high-viscosity modifier, emulsified asphalt and fibers; s3, mechanical preparation: preparing intermittent asphalt concrete mixing equipment, an asphalt mixture paver I, an asphalt mixture paver II, a double-drum vibratory roller, a pneumatic tire roller, an asphalt distribution truck and the like. The ultra-thin overlay process provided by the invention has excellent performance, does not reduce other pavement performance on the premise of ensuring better skid resistance and noise reduction performance, is low in cost, saves the raw material cost by more than 30% compared with 4cm AC-13, takes into account crack diseases, treats cracks before treating ruts, and has the advantages of short construction period, less material consumption, high paving speed, short construction period and high efficiency.
