The invention discloses an adjustable movable side water seal device for a bottom shaft driving steel gate. The adjustable movable side water seal device comprises a fixed structure and a movable structure. On one hand, the L-shaped water seals are tightly pressed and attached to the working face of the water seal base plate through large elastic deformation of the L-shaped water seals, and on the other hand, the L-shaped water seals on the inner side and the outer side and the angle steel pressing plates on the inner side and the outer side move in kidney-shaped holes of the water seal mounting steel plate through the adjusting bolts and the adjusting threaded pipes. Therefore, the water seal is tightly pressed and attached to the working face of the water seal base plate. The movable structure can be easily pulled out of or placed into the fixed structure through low compression force and low friction resistance of the L-shaped water seal, and the movable structure can be effectively limited to move in the fixed structure through the limiting plate and the gland. The bottom shaft driving steel gate side water seal is easy to manufacture, low in manufacturing cost and easy to adjust, disassembly and replacement do not need any water retaining facility, and therefore the overhaul and maintenance cost of a bottom shaft driving steel gate, especially a large-span bottom shaft driving steel gate side water seal is greatly reduced.
