The invention relates to a modular assembly type steel structure building connecting system which comprises two pairs of C-shaped module columns, the upper end of each module column is transversely connected with a ceiling beam, the lower end of each module column is transversely connected with a floor beam, and the C-shaped opening ends of each pair of module columns are oppositely arranged and connected with a column horizontal connecting kit I; the adjacent module columns are connected in the horizontal direction through the column horizontal connecting sleeve pieces I. Node connecting pieces are inserted into column end openings of node areas between the upper and lower adjacent steel structure module frame unit column horizontal connecting sleeve pieces I. Beam end connecting pieces are inserted in the butt joint positions of the beam ends of the ceiling beams and the floor beams of the corresponding module columns in the upper and lower adjacent steel structure module frame units, and connection of the upper and lower adjacent module columns in the vertical direction is jointly achieved through the node connecting pieces and the beam end connecting pieces.
