The invention provides an exhaust cap and a J-shaped exhaust passage system for a house kitchen and bath. The exhaust cap is used for being arranged at an outlet in the top of a shared exhaust passage of a house and comprises a base with an air inlet, the base is connected with a hollow arc-shaped pipe body, and the hollow arc-shaped pipe body comprises an arc-shaped ascending section and an arc-shaped descending section; the included angle a between the plane of the air outlet of the arc-shaped falling section of the hollow arc-shaped pipe body and the vertical plane is larger than or equal to 30 degrees and smaller than or equal to 160 degrees. The exhaust cap is simple in structure, low in cost and convenient to transport and mount; and the device is suitable for various mounting environments, has more advantages when being mounted close to a wall, and is small in resistance due to the arc design that airflow is discharged along a streamline.
