Abstract

The invention relates to a sliding door (100) for use as an escape door and a rescue door, comprising a drive (104) which is actuated by a door control means (102) of the sliding door (100), the door control means (102) being designed to receive signals from a sensor device (106) having a plurality of sensors and optionally from a central position (146) which is located at a higher level, the door control means (102) being designed to control the door control means (102) to be actuated by the drive (104).
