According to the device, the supporting rod is rotated and adjusted to move downwards to drive the main body supporting plate to ascend and descend, and then the requirement for ascending or descending of the construction formwork is met. The height adjusting device is few in parts, extremely easy to obtain, low in cost, easy to operate and capable of improving the construction efficiency.
