The invention discloses a water wave energy gathering building structure based on a quasi-periodic structure in the technical field of water wave energy application, and aims to solve the problem that ocean wave energy cannot be effectively collected in the prior art. The structure comprises an integral structure formed by arranging according to a quasi-periodic sequence; the overall structure is formed by splicing a first quasi-periodic structural body and a second quasi-periodic structural body which have the same band gap, and is used for enabling a liquid surface wave to be subjected to energy gathering to form an interface state at the splicing position of the structural bodies when impedance matching of the first quasi-periodic structural body and the second quasi-periodic structural body is achieved. The first quasi-periodic structural body and the second quasi-periodic structural body are formed by sequentially arranging first block structures and second block structures with different heights according to a quasi-periodic sequence.
