The invention provides a self-healing cement paste system and a preparation method thereof. The self-healing cement paste system comprises cement, a self-healing agent, a suspension stabilizer, a fluid loss agent, a dispersing agent, a retarder, an anti-channeling agent, iron ore powder and water. The weight of each component accounts for 5 to 30 percent of the weight of the cement, 0 to 5 percent of the weight of the cement, 1 to 4 percent of the weight of the cement, 0.5 to 3 percent of the weight of the cement, 0 to 1.5 percent of the weight of the cement, 0 to 2 percent of the weight of the cement, 0 to 200 percent of the weight of the cement and 38 to 75 percent of the weight of the cement; the self-healing agent comprises reactants, a sensitizer and a separant, the reactants comprise a framework material and grafting monomers, the framework material is at least one of methyl vinyl silicone rubber, isoprene rubber and nitrile rubber, and the grafting monomers are vinyl acetate and methyl methacrylate; the sensitizer is at least one of triethylene glycol dimethacrylate and triallyl isocyanate, and the separant is white carbon black and calcium stearate. After a cement sheath formed by the self-healing cement paste system generates cracks, the cracks can be self-healed when meeting water, oil hydrocarbon and gas hydrocarbon.
