Each of the outdoor metal gap assembly and the indoor metal gap assembly comprises a first metal component and a second metal component; gaps exist between the other side of the first metal component and one side of the second metal component in the left-right direction and the front-back direction; the telescopic sealing strip is located on the inner side of the outdoor metal gap assembly. The heat preservation layer is located on the inner side of the telescopic sealing strip and located on the outer side of the indoor metal gap assembly. The steel structure expansion joint has the advantages of solving the problems of large deformation quantity of an existing steel structure expansion joint, durability, limitation and attractive appearance of a cornice building of a traditional expansion joint.
