The invention provides an assembly type viscoelastic adjustable self-resetting support which solves the problems that a building needs to be dismantled and the post-earthquake recovery capacity of the building is seriously affected due to the fact that a buckling restrained brace is large in post-earthquake plastic deformation, serious in damage and difficult to repair or too high in repair cost. When the support is pulled or pressed, the middle elastic reset piece is compressed to store elastic potential energy, and after stress is finished, the stored elastic potential energy provides self-reset capacity for the support, so that the support is restored to the original state. The SMA stranded wires in the upper row and the lower row are always in a stretched state, energy is consumed by means of hyperelasticity of the SMA stranded wires, and the SMA stranded wires recover to the original state due to the self-resetting performance of the SMA stranded wires after stress is finished. In the assembling process, the tension progress of the SMA stranded wires can be adjusted through the tension progress adjusting component, the prestress of the self-resetting capacity of the buckling restrained brace device can be adjusted in advance in the installing process, and the more suitable self-resetting capacity can be provided for the brace.
