The invention relates to a brownish glaze for a Ougan kiln and a preparation method and an application method thereof, the brownish glaze comprises a ground glaze and a cover glaze, the ground glaze comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 25-35 wt% of Longquan stone, 15-25 wt% of straw ash, 2-5 wt% of ball clay, 10-15 wt% of slag, 5-10 wt% of dolomite, 10-20 wt% of quartz and 2-6 wt% of titanium oxide; the cover glaze is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 20 to 30 weight percent of Longquan stone, 15 to 25 weight percent of straw ash, 2 to 5 weight percent of ball clay, 15 to 25 weight percent of slag, 5 to 10 weight percent of dolomite, 10 to 20 weight percent of quartz and 2 to 6 weight percent of titanium oxide; and the color glaze for the color kiln is obtained through the procedures of batching, ball milling, sieving, glazing, drying, firing and cooling. The method is simple in process, low in cost and pure in color development, so that the method has a wider practical application prospect.
