The invention belongs to the technical field of steel structure construction, and discloses an inclined steel column mounting method which comprises the following steps: mounting a guide pulley on a column foot, and mounting a winch at the column foot; supporting rods are welded to the steel columns, and inclined supporting rods are arranged between the supporting rods and the steel columns; a first connecting plate and a second connecting plate are welded to the column top and the column bottom of the steel column correspondingly; a fixed pulley is installed at the top end of the supporting rod, the first end of an inhaul cable is fixedly connected to the first connecting plate, and the second end of the inhaul cable is temporarily connected with the second connecting plate after being wound around the fixed pulley; the steel column is hoisted to the column foot through hoisting equipment; the second end of the inhaul cable is wound around the guide pulley and then connected with a winch, and the inclination posture of the steel column is adjusted through the winch; the column bottom and the column foot of the steel column are temporarily and fixedly connected, and then the hoisting equipment is removed; and the steel column and the column foot are welded, the inhaul cable is removed, and the supporting rod and the inclined supporting rod are dismantled. By means of the method, inclined installation of the steel column can be achieved without a temporary support, installation is convenient, and precision control is accurate.
