The invention belongs to the technical field of aero-engine test run, and particularly relates to a roof hoisting type reverse thrust exhaust structure which comprises a roof steel frame, a hoisting column, a first track, a rotary driving assembly, a transport trolley, a volute support, a reverse thrust exhaust volute, an engine, a volute locking assembly, a second track and a rotary track. The two sections of rails are vertically distributed and are respectively fixed on a roof steel frame through davits, and the first rail is vertical to the air inlet direction of an engine; the transportation trolley on the rail is driven by the rotary driving assembly to rotate by 90 degrees in situ and reverse; the transport trolley can slide on the first track, the second track and the rotary track; a volute support is installed on the transport trolley and used for installing a reverse thrust exhaust volute. After the transportation trolley rotates by 90 degrees through the original position and is reversed, the engine is installed and fixed. When a reverse thrust test is not carried out, a small area is occupied, the pneumatic influence on a test room is small, and meanwhile, when the reverse thrust test is carried out, the transportation efficiency is high, and the track is accurately positioned.
