The invention relates to a multifunctional sound barrier utilizing solar power generation. The multifunctional sound barrier comprises a frame body; the sound absorption and insulation screen bodies are mounted at the upper end and the lower end of the frame body; the connecting steel frames are mounted at the two ends of the frame body; the connecting steel frame is fixedly connected with the sound absorption and insulation screen body; and the photovoltaic screen body is arranged on the frame body. Compared with a traditional vertical solar photovoltaic sound barrier, the noise reduction effect is enhanced, the light energy collection and conversion efficiency is improved, and the collection efficiency of a solar panel on illumination radiation is improved.
