The bottom water-permeable rockfill area is located on the upper portion of the foundation surface, the front end of the bottom water-permeable rockfill area is connected with the upstream water-permeable rockfill area, the upstream water-permeable rockfill area is located on the inner side of the tailing pond, the upper portion of the bottom water-permeable rockfill area is connected with the downstream heaping supporting area, and the downstream heaping supporting area is located on the outer side of the tailing pond. Compared with the prior art, the improved tailing pond initial dam has the advantages that the tailing pond initial dam is reasonably partitioned, piled stones are reduced, earth and stone materials, waste stones, weathered materials and the like excavated on site are fully utilized, engineering investment is saved, drainage of the initial dam is not affected, and the infiltration line is reduced.
