The invention discloses machine-made sand concrete based on limestone chips as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and the machine-made sand concrete comprises the following components in parts by mass: 160-175 parts of water, 200 parts of cement, 80 parts of mineral powder, 80 parts of fly ash, 435-696 parts of machine-made sand, 174-435 parts of limestone chips, 950 parts of gravel, 5.8 parts of a water reducing agent and limestone chips. The interface bonding performance of the cement and the aggregate is enhanced, and the strength of the concrete is improved; the limestone chips are low in activity, and the early-stage shrinkage cracking phenomenon of the concrete can be reduced by matching the limestone chips with the machine-made sand.
