The invention discloses a dimming control method for an intelligent glass roof. The dimming control method comprises the following steps: numbering glass; approximate projection: a projection is formed below the dimming glass close to the roof and is approximately used as a light action plane of the dimming glass; distance accounting: the space distance from a light action plane to a plane needing to be controlled is calculated; angle acquisition: acquiring a space angle of sunlight incidence; calculating a shadow: calculating an actual shadow generated by sunlight on a plane needing to be controlled through a light action plane; the dimming requirement comprises the following steps: obtaining position information of a target area; and shadow judgment: calculating the close distance between the actual shadow and the target area, and judging whether the dimming glass should be closed or not according to the close distance. The method has the beneficial effects that by controlling the independent dimming glass, the brightness degree of the dimming glass can be accurately controlled according to the lifting height of the sun and different seasons and dates, and it can be guaranteed that an indoor fixed area of a building below the roof glass is located in a shadow range all the time.
