The invention relates to the field of road construction, in particular to a cutting device for road expansion joint construction. The cutting machine comprises a cutting machine body, two standard belts and auxiliary structures, the two standard belts are closed in the circumferential direction, the two standard belts are arranged on the two sides of the cutting machine body respectively and are parallel to a cutter of the cutting machine body, and the auxiliary structures are arranged on the cutting machine body and correspond to the standard belts one to one. The auxiliary structure supports the standard belts and enables the two standard belts to alternately rotate in the continuous advancing process of the cutting machine body. In the road cutting process of the cutting machine body, the standard belt on one side rotates at the same time and then moves forwards along with the cutting machine body, the standard belt on the other side keeps static relative to the ground, and the static standard belt is always parallel to the auxiliary line and then can serve as a standard to enable the device to move forwards along a straight line; therefore, the cutting device is not easy to deviate from the auxiliary line and can cut along the auxiliary line all the time.
