The invention discloses a laying device and method of a reinforced material and a construction method of a reinforced soil abrupt slope, and belongs to the technical field of reinforced material construction. The reinforced material paving device is used for solving at least one of the problems that in the prior art, when a reinforced material which is large in width, large in size and heavy in mass is paved, the paved reinforced material is prone to wrinkling, uneven in paving and uneven in edge. The device comprises an auxiliary trolley and a telescopic plate, each auxiliary cart comprises a bottom plate, a fastening rod and a flattening roller, the bottom plate of one auxiliary cart is fixedly connected with one end of the telescopic plate, and the bottom plate of the other auxiliary cart is fixedly connected with the other end of the telescopic plate; the fastening rod is fixedly connected with the bottom plate and located on the side, away from the telescopic plate, of the bottom plate. The fastening rod is inserted into the end of a reel of the rib roll and rotationally connected with the end of the reel. The flattening roller is arranged at the front end of the bottom plate, and the height of the flattening roller relative to the ground is adjustable.
