The invention discloses a low-temperature composite cement early strength agent, which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 10 to 15 parts of calcium formate, 0.2 to 0.4 part of triethanolamine, 5 to 8 parts of modified halloysite nanotubes, 4 to 6 parts of magnesium-aluminum hydrotalcite, 3 to 5 parts of nano calcium carbonate, 1 to 2 parts of cellulose ether and 0.3 to 0.5 part of anionic surfactant. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the low-temperature composite cement early strength agent. The cement early strength agent disclosed by the invention not only has a good low-temperature early strength effect, but also can improve the later strength of cement, and is free of chlorine salt and sulfate, and the durability of a cement product is good.
