The embodiment of the invention discloses an auxiliary device for climbing steps, self-moving equipment and a stair climbing method thereof, the auxiliary device comprises a slope body arranged on a stair, the slope body comprises a slope main body, one end of the slope main body is provided with a bottom gentle slope body, and the other end of the slope main body is provided with a top gentle slope body; wherein the slope main body is arranged on a step from a low position to a high position of a stair; the bottom gentle slope body is arranged on a first plane connected with the step at the lower position; the top gentle slope body is arranged on a second plane connected with the step at the high position; therefore, the self-moving equipment can automatically go up and down the stairs by climbing the slope main body, so that a user does not need to carry the self-moving equipment to the upper-layer ground or the lower-layer ground through the stairs, time and labor are saved, and the user can conveniently use the self-moving equipment; in addition, by means of the bottom gentle slope body and the top gentle slope body, the self-moving equipment can climb to the slope body or move out of the slope body more smoothly.
