The lifting rope and the mooring rope are respectively connected with lifting equipment on a construction ship; the mooring rope is sleeved with an automatic climbing sonar device, and the automatic climbing sonar device comprises a floating lifting device, a sonar device, a power device for driving the sonar device to climb and a locking opening fixing device for fixing the sonar device. The detection range is convenient to specify, generation of most noise data is avoided, the influence of unknown factors such as ocean currents and marine organisms in the ocean during detection can be reduced, and the precision of the detection result is high; meanwhile, the automation degree is high, and seabed soil layer surveying and topographic surveying and mapping can be conducted at the same time.
