The invention discloses an assembly type transverse frame structure for an intelligent travel cabin frame and a connecting method thereof.The assembly type transverse frame structure comprises a first cross beam and a second cross beam which are detachably connected, the first cross beam is provided with a convex part, the second cross beam is provided with a groove matched with the convex part, the convex part is provided with a plurality of sets of clamping hooks in the length direction, and the clamping hooks are connected with the first cross beam and the second cross beam. A plurality of clamping grooves matched with the clamping hooks are formed in the groove, and when the first cross beam is connected to the second cross beam in a clamped mode, a driving piece arranged on the first cross beam or the second cross beam drives the clamping hooks to enter the clamping grooves. The first cross beam and the second cross beam are designed in a concave-convex mode, convex grooves and concave grooves are connected in a clamped mode, and the overall lateral stiffness of the structure is greatly improved; meanwhile, the longitudinal connection strength of the structure is improved through the concave-convex design in the cross beam, and compared with bolt connection and welding, the positioning difficulty is greatly reduced through matched positioning of the convex grooves and the concave grooves, and the assembly speed is increased.
