The invention discloses a construction method for a vertical lockrand waterproof heat-preservation arc-shaped steel structure roof. A bottom plate is laid on a steel net frame; a supporting frame is installed on the surface of a bottom plate, a plurality of longitudinal square tubes are installed on the supporting frame, through grooves communicated with the interiors of the longitudinal square tubes are formed in the upper surfaces of the longitudinal square tubes, damp-proof cotton and heat preservation cotton are arranged between the adjacent longitudinal square tubes to form a damp-proof heat preservation layer, a waterproof roll is arranged on the surface of the damp-proof heat preservation layer, and then the waterproof roll is fixed through a plurality of buckles. The waterproof coiled material and the moisture-proof thermal insulation layer are embedded into the longitudinal square tube together; the two sides of the roof panel are buckled to the upper end embedding parts of the multiple buckling pieces in the two adjacent longitudinal columns, and then lock seams between the buckling pieces and the roof panel are subjected to edge locking; a veneer is arranged on the roof panel, and a heat insulation layer is formed in a gap between the veneer and the keel. The waterproof, heat preservation, heat insulation and damp-proof effects of the steel truss roof are improved, and the installation difficulty of multi-layer combination is reduced.
