The invention relates to the technical field of bridge engineering, in particular to a cable-stayed bridge cable body detection and maintenance system which comprises a first winch system arranged at the top of a bridge tower. The second winch system is arranged on the bridge floor close to the root of the bridge tower; the sensor is arranged on a cable of the cable-stayed bridge; the first winch system and the second winch system are connected with the sensor through traction ropes and provide traction force parallel to the cable direction of the cable-stayed bridge to be detected for the sensor through a collaborative traction algorithm. Compared with the prior art, the device has the advantages that the winch serves as basic equipment, a detection sensor or maintenance equipment is pulled by means of system combination and control calculation, and inhaul cable detection and maintenance on places where manpower is difficult to reach are facilitated.
