A first aspect of the present invention provides an adapter for an electronic door lock, the adapter configured to be operably connected with a locking element of a door lock cylinder, the adapter comprising: a cylindrical housing having an open end and a receiving gear circumferentially surrounding an exterior of the cylindrical housing, the receiving gear is configured to be operably connected with a gear mechanism of the electronic door lock; the frame is connected with the interior of the cylindrical shell and comprises a plurality of openings; and a plurality of telescopic pins bundled in parallel, the telescopic pins are adaptively connected with the openings, and when the adapter is operably connected with the locking element, part of the telescopic pins are variably retracted to adapt to the shape of the locking element.
