The invention discloses a backfill material matched with rock wave impedance and a preparation method thereof.The backfill material is prepared from, by weight, 45-70 parts of Portland cement, 40-189 parts of mineral admixture, 0.1-0.3 part of plastic expanding agent, 5-10 parts of UEA expanding agent, 0.9-3.4 parts of super absorbent resin and 28-54 parts of water, and the mineral admixture is mineral powder or quartz sand or fly ash; and the balance is added with a water reducing agent or a water-retaining agent to enable the saturated water absorption rate to be 180-600 times or above. The super absorbent resin with adjustable size and particle size is doped as an adjusting material, artificially adjustable closed pores are added in the rock backfill material, the effect of adjusting the pore structure is achieved, and the problem that during rock blasting data transmission, due to wave impedance and stress wave propagation laws of the backfill material and different rocks, the pore structure cannot be adjusted is solved. And the received data distortion is caused by mismatching of mechanical properties and the like.
