The invention provides silicon nitride ceramic, a preparation method thereof and a packaging product. The preparation method of the silicon nitride ceramic comprises the following steps: sequentially carrying out molding treatment and air glue removal treatment on ceramic composition slurry to prepare a biscuit; the biscuit is placed in a carbon source solution to be subjected to dipping treatment, and a dipped biscuit is prepared; carrying out sintering treatment on the impregnated biscuit to prepare the silicon nitride ceramic; the ceramic composition slurry comprises silicon nitride, a first sintering aid, a second sintering aid, a dispersing agent, a binder, a defoaming agent and a solvent; the first sintering aid is magnesium oxide, and the second sintering aid is rare earth oxide. The preparation method can improve the thermal conductivity of the prepared silicon nitride ceramic.
