The invention discloses a construction method for a suspended single-cable-plane cable-stayed steel bridge. The construction method comprises the following steps that firstly, three-dimensional modeling is conducted on a cable-stayed bridge; secondly, a temporary support system is built; 3, analyzing the overall stress of the cable-stayed bridge; 4, pedestrian comfort vibration reduction analysis on the cable-stayed bridge is carried out; and fifthly, stay cables are installed and tensioned. Aiming at the problems that a single-cable-plane cable-stayed bridge structure of a suspension system is light and small in rigidity, the pedestrian comfort degree does not meet the requirement and small-cable-force asymmetric cooperative tensioning is difficult, a finite element simulation analysis technology is utilized, the dynamic characteristics and the sensitive frequency range under different load conditions and different walking working conditions are systematically analyzed, and through arrangement of vertical and transverse TMD damping devices, the single-cable-plane cable-stayed bridge structure is obtained. And it is ensured that the pedestrian comfort reaches the optimal level, and the safety and comfort of the bridge are guaranteed.
