The invention provides an assembly type steel concrete building main body frame structure and a construction method thereof. The structure comprises stand columns, a ring beam connected between the stand columns in a lap joint mode, a beam support supported below the ring beam, a top beam support and a bottom ring beam. The stand column is formed by vertically connecting at least two stand column units through an upper-lower stand column butt-joint frame, and a beam support connecting frame and a ring beam connecting frame are arranged on the outer side of the upper-lower stand column butt-joint frame. A top stand column top sealing frame is arranged on the top of the stand column, and a top beam support connecting frame is arranged on the outer side of the top stand column top sealing frame. The bottoms of the stand columns are connected with stand column base frames. Bottom ring beam connecting frames are arranged on the outer sides of the stand column base frames. A vertically-through cavity is formed in the stand column and is filled with concrete. The advantages of steel and concrete are combined, the steel structure poured with the concrete is higher in overall strength and better in stability, and meanwhile the material cost is lower than that of a pure steel structure with the same strength.
