The invention provides an intelligent tuned mass damper with three-stage variable damping control. Bidirectional vibration control of a structure is realized through smooth bidirectional sliding of a friction pendulum support in a plane; eddy current damping force is generated through relative movement between the electromagnet and the conductor plate to achieve energy consumption in the small-amplitude vibration control stage, and the energization amount of the electromagnet is adjusted in real time through the control center to achieve semi-active variable damping control. Energy consumption in the medium-amplitude vibration control stage is achieved through shaking of liquid and the variable oil film system, and the oil film thickness of the variable oil film system is adjusted in real time through the control center so that semi-active variable damping control can be achieved; the magneto-rheological damper is used for achieving energy consumption in the large-amplitude vibration control stage, the energization amount of the magneto-rheological damper is adjusted in real time through the control center so that semi-active variable damping control can be achieved, and the limiting effect of the mass block can be achieved.
