The invention belongs to the field of refractory materials for converter tapping holes in the iron and steel industry, and particularly relates to a converter tapping hole lining repairing material and a preparation and use method thereof.The repairing material is prepared from waste magnesia carbon bricks, magnesia-calcium sand, alumina-magnesia spinel, ordinary pyroxene, montmorillonite, semi-coke and waste aluminum-zirconium carbon bricks as main materials, ZnO as an additive and alumina sol as a binding agent through a one-step method. And the material is used for repairing the lining of the tapping hole. The repairing material is high in high-temperature resistance, slag resistance, molten steel erosion resistance and scouring resistance, high in bonding strength with a matrix and good in thermal shock stability. According to the invention, on-line hot repair can be carried out on the lining of the tapping hole, the service life after one-time repair reaches more than 150 furnaces, the overall service life of the tapping hole is prolonged to more than 370 furnaces from the original about 220 furnaces, the overall service time of the tapping hole is greatly prolonged, the brick lining is fully utilized, and the maximum utilization of resources is realized. And meanwhile, the cost of the tapping hole is also greatly reduced.
