The embodiment of the invention discloses a tunnel portal girder erection construction method. The influence of weather on girder erection construction can be reduced. The method comprises the steps that a sliding way and a tackle are installed on a bridge abutment and a cover beam; the first prefabricated boundary beam is placed on the tackle through the bridge girder erection machine, the first prefabricated boundary beam is moved to the first preset position through the sliding way and the tackle, and the first prefabricated boundary beam is installed at the first preset position; a prefabricated secondary edge beam which is preset to be adjacent to the first prefabricated edge beam is placed on the tackle through the bridge girder erection machine, the prefabricated secondary edge beam is moved to a second preset position through the sliding way and the tackle, the prefabricated secondary edge beam is installed at the second preset position, and the first prefabricated edge beam and the prefabricated secondary edge beam are connected; a second prefabricated boundary beam is placed on the tackle through the bridge girder erection machine, the second prefabricated boundary beam is moved to a third preset position through the sliding way and the tackle, and the second prefabricated boundary beam is installed at the third preset position; and the other precast beams are installed at the corresponding preset positions, and all the precast beams are connected.
