The invention relates to the field of ladders, in particular to a high-voltage insulating extension ladder which comprises a main horizontal ladder. The main horizontal ladder is connected with an auxiliary horizontal ladder in a sliding manner; a buckle assembly is arranged between the main horizontal ladder and the auxiliary horizontal ladder; the bottom of the main horizontal ladder is fixedly connected with a pressure sensor; an emergency stop assembly is arranged between the main horizontal ladder and the auxiliary horizontal ladder; a plurality of magnets are symmetrically and fixedly connected to the left end and the right end of the main horizontal ladder; a plurality of conductor rods are fixedly connected to the auxiliary horizontal ladder at equal intervals; driving assemblies are respectively arranged at two ends of the main horizontal ladder; when a person stands on the auxiliary horizontal ladder, the auxiliary horizontal ladder suddenly descends, and the conductor rod moves downwards; a magnetic field is generated between the magnets, part of the conductor rods cut magnetic induction lines in the downward moving process, current is generated in part of the conductor rods, current is introduced into the PLC and started, meanwhile, electric signals sent by the pressure sensor are received, and the PLC controls the driving assembly to work and drives the emergency stop assembly to enable the auxiliary horizontal ladder to stop descending.
