The apparatus includes a first leaf spring flange and a second leaf spring flange joined along a longitudinal edge at a front seam. The apparatus includes a channel divider plate longitudinally joined to the front seam and the second frame panel to form a first channel and a second channel sized to receive an edge of the wallboard. The device includes a guide flange longitudinally joined to the frame seam. The corner edge of the second wall panel may be urged against the guide flange such that the corner edge slides along the guide flange to guide the second wall panel into the second channel.
