The invention relates to the technical field of bridge expansion joints, and discloses a bridge expansion joint filling sealing rubber strip construction method which comprises the following construction steps that (1) construction expansion joint positioning is conducted, silt in a joint is cleaned, a joint cleaning notch is formed, the expansion joint comprises two pieces of profile steel arranged oppositely, and the joint cleaning notch is formed between the two pieces of profile steel; the profile steel is provided with an orientation face arranged towards the joint cleaning notch. (2) rust removal and primary cleaning are conducted on the facing face, and an embedded groove formed by sinking inwards is formed in the facing face; (3) the lining strip is pressed into the joint cleaning notch till the end of the lining strip is completely embedded into the embedding groove, and a notch to be filled is defined by the two pieces of profile steel and the lining strip; (4) a protective film is attached, and the facing face is cleaned for the second time; (5) sealant is injected into the notch to be filled, the notch to be filled is filled with the sealant from bottom to top, a sealing layer is formed, and when the interval between the top of the sealing layer and the top of the profile steel reaches a set interval, sealant injection is stopped; and (6) curing, wherein the sealing layer is solidified to form a solid sealing body.
