The invention provides an anti-windage yaw iron tower cross arm and a design method thereof.The cross arm mainly comprises a jumper support lower frame, a jumper support upper frame and a plurality of supporting rods, the jumper support lower frame comprises two cross rods arranged in parallel in the first direction and two vertical rods arranged in parallel in the second direction, and the two cross rods are arranged in parallel in the first direction; the jumper support upper frame is arranged above the jumper support lower frame along a third direction, and the jumper support upper frame and the jumper support lower frame are connected through the plurality of supporting rods; the mounting rod is arranged between the two vertical rods, the two ends, in the first direction, of the mounting rod are connected with the two transverse rods respectively, and a windage yaw prevention insulator hanging point is arranged in the middle of the mounting rod; the first direction, the second direction and the third direction are perpendicular to one another. Therefore, the problem that an existing wind deflection prevention iron tower cross arm is insufficient in safety and economical efficiency is solved.
