The device comprises an end anchor mechanism, a side column mechanism, a middle column mechanism and a ground anchor pile, the two sets of end anchoring mechanisms are arranged at the two ends respectively. A side column mechanism is arranged on the inner side of each set of end anchor mechanism; ground anchor piles are arranged in the middle positions of the two side column mechanisms; and middle column mechanisms are arranged between the ground anchor piles and the side column mechanisms and between the adjacent ground anchor piles. The method is convenient to construct and simple to operate; the installation process is clear, the construction procedure is reasonable, the number of needed installation workers is small, and the installation efficiency and the installation quality are improved in the worker construction process; the installation problem of the photovoltaic support system on the high and steep slope of the complex mountainous region is solved, the construction cost is saved, the construction quality is improved, and the safety risk is reduced. The method is suitable for the installation operation of a large-span photovoltaic support system which is complex in terrain, large in gradient and not fixed in span number.
