The invention discloses a temperature-controlled shrinkage-compensating admixture for concrete and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of concrete admixtures. The admixture comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 52%-70% of an expansion component, 8%-13% of a modifier, 10%-15% of a temperature-sensitive controlled release component and 10%-20% of a water retention component; the modifier comprises aluminum phosphate and/or aluminum titanate; the temperature-sensitive controlled release component comprises a hydration heat inhibition component and a temperature-sensitive polymer wrapping the surface of the hydration heat inhibition component, and the temperature-sensitive polymer is formed by polymerizing N-isopropylacrylamide and N, N-dimethylacrylamide. According to the admixture disclosed by the invention, the expansion component compensates shrinkage, the modifier and the temperature-sensitive controlled-release component reduce temperature reduction shrinkage, and the water retention component promotes the closing effect of the temperature-sensitive controlled-release component, so that the concrete shrinkage is effectively reduced, and the generation of cracks is remarkably reduced.
