The novel ceramic fragrance diffusing stone is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 27.5 to 33.3 percent of kaolin, 20.6 to 24.5 percent of aluminum oxide, 39.2 to 49.0 percent of cordierite clinker, 1 to 3 percent of bentonite, 0 to 4 percent of high borosilicate glass powder and 0 to 3 percent of pigment. The novel ceramic fragrance diffusion stone has a water absorption rate of 9-20% and an average pore size of 0.5-2 [mu] m. The novel ceramic fragrance diffusion stone can be manufactured manually, has a good fragrance diffusion effect and strong durability, is low in production cost, can be made into various shapes and adopt various colors, and is convenient to clean.
