The invention relates to a displacement increasing type composite bridge anti-falling beam limiting device. The device comprises a cylinder body, at least one viscous damper, a piston rod, an even number of shape memory alloy wires and an even number of springs, the piston rod is fixedly connected with a piston head with a hole in the viscous damper, the piston rod is in sliding connection with the cylinder body, and one end of the piston rod extends out of the cylinder body; the part, located in the cylinder body, of the piston rod is fixedly sleeved with a push plate, and the push plate is in sliding connection with the inner wall of the cylinder body. The viscous damper, the shape memory alloy wire and the spring generate the anti-seismic force effect together, and the composite bridge limiting device is formed. Under the action of an earthquake load, the shape memory alloy wire, the spring and the viscous damper act synergistically to provide enough energy consumption and self-resetting capacity for a bridge, and the limiting device has large deformability to meet the earthquake displacement limiting requirement between pier beams.
