The subject of the invention is a motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, having a locking mechanism (1, 2) which mainly comprises a rotary latch (1) and a pawl (2). In addition, at least one electromotive drive (6, 7) is provided. A control unit (10) and an at least two-part housing (4, 5) comprising a wet chamber housing part (4) and a dry chamber housing part (5) are also provided. The drive (6, 7) and the control unit (10) are arranged in the dry chamber housing part (5) and the locking mechanism (1, 2) is arranged in the wet chamber housing part (4). According to the invention, the two housing parts (4, 5) are arranged parallel to one another and are connected to one another at the edges in a sealed manner.
