Provided is a binder composition for ceramic molding, which contains 15-95% by mass of a component (A) and 5-85% by mass of a component (B), the component (A) being a copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 50,000-1,000,000 and having 70-99% by mole of a structural unit derived from formula (1), 1-30% by mole of a structural unit derived from formula (2), and 0-29% by mole of other structural units, CH2 = CR1-COO-R2 formula (1) wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; in formula (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2 represents an alkyl group having 1-8 carbon atoms, and in formula (2) CH2 = CR3-COO-R4, R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R4 represents a hydroxyalkyl group having 1-8 carbon atoms and having 1-2 hydroxyl groups; component (B): a compound represented by formula (3): R5O-(EO) p-(PO) q-H (in formula (3), R5 is a C9 alkyl group, EO is a vinyl oxide group, PO is a propenyl oxide group, p is the average number of moles of EO added and p = 3-9, q is the average number of moles of PO added and q = 2-4, and p/q = 1.0-3.0.
