And sintering at low temperature to obtain the columnar grain high-purity cordierite ceramic. 本发明公开了一种柱状形晶粒高纯堇青石陶瓷及其制备方法与应用;柱状形晶粒高纯堇青石陶瓷由氧化镁、氧化铝、二氧化硅原料进行混合后造粒,将造粒粉体压制成型后进行排胶处理,高温反应合成出堇青石,细化后造粒,采用模具压制成型,冷等静压处理,排胶处理后低温烧结得到柱状形晶粒高纯堇青石陶瓷。本发明通过原料粉体采用模具压制成型;特别是控制所述的压制成型的压力为4~10MPa,保压时间5~15s,可显著减小原料颗粒之间的间距,使合成堇青石的固相反应充分进行,显著提高堇青石晶相的含量,并使得所得柱状形晶粒高纯堇青石陶瓷综合性能显著提升。
