The invention relates to an indoor transformer substation ventilation and noise reduction system and a design method thereof.The system comprises a main transformer and solid walls, the solid walls are installed on the periphery of the transformer and are in a closed state, the solid walls are closed to define a transformer chamber, the transformer is installed in the middle of the interior of the transformer chamber, and noise generated by operation of the transformer can be isolated by the solid walls; the transformer further comprises a ventilation air duct and air supply fans, the ventilation air duct is arranged on the lower portion of the transformer in a surrounding mode, the multiple air supply fans are arranged in the brick wall body on the inner ring of the ventilation air duct and supply air towards the position under the transformer, meanwhile, a hollowed-out steel grating is arranged under the transformer, and it is guaranteed that cold air can be directly supplied to the position under the transformer through the air supply fans. According to the invention, the energy consumption can be reduced on the basis of meeting normal heat dissipation of equipment, the noise influence on the surrounding environment is reduced, and the environment friendliness is realized.
