METHOD FOR PRODUCING CERAMIC PARTICLES
A method of manufacturing ceramic microparticles for producing a body of a ceramic tile formed by pressing, comprising the following steps:-preparing a raw material comprising clay, an inert substance and a fluxing agent according to a prescribed formulation of a ceramic body mixture of the ceramic tile; -dry grinding an amount of the feedstock to obtain a dry powder mixture of the feedstock; preparing a liquid mixture comprising a further amount of the starting material and an aqueous carrier; -granulating the dried powder mixture by particle growth to obtain the ceramic microparticles; wherein, except the aqueous carrier, the dry powder mixture and the liquid mixture have the same formula as the defined ceramic mixture; and the granulation by particle growth comprises injecting a liquid mixture in the form of droplets onto the dried powder mixture.
