The invention belongs to the technical field of urban road engineering, and provides a street intersection connection system which comprises a second street, a first street and an intersection area formed by intersection of the second street and the first street. The first street comprises a first road and second roads arranged on the two sides of the first road. The second street comprises a third road and fourth roads arranged on the two sides of the third road; a transverse road communicated with the second roads on the two sides is arranged at one end, close to the intersection area, of the first street; no height difference exists among the second road, the transverse road, the fourth road and the third road; a height difference exists between the first road and the second road; a downhill section is arranged between the transverse road and the roadway I; according to the connection system, stable measures such as deceleration pavement and vertical lifting at the intersection are utilized, the vehicle speed is slowed down, meanwhile, the continuity of barrier-free passing at the intersection area is achieved, and a new way is provided for solving the connection problem of shared street intersections in old urban areas.
