The invention relates to a foldable pavilion and a using method thereof.The foldable pavilion comprises a pavilion roof and a plurality of supporting columns supported below the pavilion roof, the adjacent supporting columns are connected with transition blocks through folding assemblies, the transition blocks are connected with a center column located in the center through the folding assemblies, and each folding assembly comprises two supporting rods hinged in a crossed mode; staggered clamping grooves are formed in the attached sides of the supporting rods to avoid excessive swinging, the two ends of the supporting rods are hinged to the transition blocks and the folding blocks respectively, the supporting columns or the center column are sleeved with the folding blocks, and the folding blocks located at the tops of the supporting columns and the bottom of the center column are fixed. The folding blocks located at other positions are all in sliding connection with the supporting column or the central column, and the folding blocks connected to the supporting column in a sliding mode are all located with the supporting column in an inserted mode through spring locating pins.
