Adding light calcined magnesia or active SiO2 until the mass ratio of MgO to SiO2 in the filter residues is (1: 1)-(4: 1), adding deionized water accounting for 50% of the mass of the filter residues, and stirring for 1-2 hours to obtain slurry; and pouring the slurry into a mold for rapid molding, demolding, and maintaining. The invention provides the method for directly obtaining the magnesium silicate cementing material by taking the solid waste boric sludge as a main raw material through a certain treatment process, the process flow is simple, the energy consumption is lower, solid, liquid and gas wastes are not discharged, 100% reutilization of the boric sludge solid waste is realized, and meanwhile, the obtained magnesium silicate cementing material is stable in performance, has better bending strength and is suitable for industrial production. The cement can partially replace calcium silicate cement and has certain economic value and environmental protection value.
