The invention discloses a fabricated multi-tuned mass damper and a design method.The damper comprises a bottom plate, a plurality of mass-spring system assemblies and a plurality of eddy current damping devices, the mass-spring system assemblies are independently arranged on the bottom plate, and each mass-spring system assembly is an independent unit; a combined mass assembly and a spring assembly are arranged, and the combined mass assembly can directly abut against the bottom plate in a matched mode through the spring assembly and can independently and freely move up and down relative to the bottom plate. The eddy current damping devices are distributed between every two adjacent mass-spring system assemblies and matched with the combined mass assemblies in the two mass-spring system assemblies respectively to jointly dissipate vibration energy. The vibration control performance and robustness of the damper can be effectively improved, convenience of the damper in practical application is facilitated by combining the assembly type structural design, and a simpler, more effective, more economical and more efficient scheme is provided for engineering practicability of the damper.
